BIOGRAPHY
Raycho Stanev is a visual artist, he is publishing stories for events such as Sofia Contemporary, PARABOLE Athens, Istanbul Biannual, This Not Get A Way London, Transmediale Berlin, as well as GRANTA Magazine. In 2008 Raycho realised Stories for '68, followed by Visual ID and The Great Excursion - series of exhibition (nominated for BAZA award 2010) that developed memories and traumas from the communist past in Bulgaria. Together with the other like-minded Raycho developed the Bright Future Series in Sofia, Plovdiv and Berlin. The project contained installation and publication about Bulgarian Typo Heritage. / Райчо Станев е визуален артист, той публикува своите истории за мероприятия като Sofia Contemporary, PARABOLE Athens, Istanbul Biannual, This Not Get A Way London, Transmediale Berlin, както и списание GRANTA. През 2008 г. Райчо реализира Истории за '68 , последвани от Нагледна агитация и Голямата екскурзия - поредица от изложби (номинирани за наградата БАЗА 2010), които развиват спомени и травми от комунистическото минало на България. Заедно с други съмишленици Райчо развива серията Светло бъдеще в София, Пловдив и Берлин. Проектът включва инсталация и публикация за българското типографско наследство.
